Swanton, OH is 7 miles East of Delta, OH on Alt 20 and just South of Interstate 90. A population of 3,690 and a total area of 3.13 square miles, Swanton crosses two Ohio counties – Fulton and Lucas counties. The village takes its name from nearby Swan Creek.

Swanton is a short drive to Delta, Liberty Center and Wauseon to the West and Maumee to the East.

Swanton Memorial Park is home to one of E. M. Viquesney’s “Spirit of the American Doughboy” statues. The sculpture was one of several donated as a gift by France to U.S. cities that had lost many soldiers during World War I.

If you like an international flare there are Asian restaurants in the area offering Chinese, Thai and Korean food including Ko’s Garden.

The Bluegrass Campground on Waterville Swanton Road, Twin Acres Campground on Waterville Swanton Road in nearby Whitehouse and Hidden Lake Campgrounds on Swanton’s South Fulton Lucas Road.
