Wauseon, OH is  9 miles West of Delta, OH on Alt 20.  With Interstate 90 to the North and 31 miles West of Toledo, OH.  A population of 7,332 during the 2010 census and a total area of 5.19 square miles.  Wauseon was formed in 1853 when the Michigan Southern Air Railway was extended to that point. It was established as the Fulton county seat in 1869.   The Fulton County Courthouse was built in 1871. The construction of the Ohio Turnpike in the mid 20th century also helped lead to the commercial growth of Wauseon.

Wauseon is a short drive to Delta, Maumee, Liberty Center and Swanton to the East. Toledo to the Northeast and Perrysburg to the East.

In 1906 Wauseon established and built the city Library originally funded by tycoon and entrepreneur Andrew Carnegie.  Total holdings in 2005 were over 91,000 volumes with over 210 periodical subscriptions.
